On Monday 5th July four year 9 students (who were, coincidentally, all in the Faraday Community) travelled to Bishop Bell school to take part in an annual trivia quiz. We were competing against four other schools: Cavendish, Hailsham, Willingdon and, of course, Bishop Bell.
The first round saw us come joint first with three of the other schools. In the second round we also got full marks, but unfortunately that is where our luck ran out! Throughout the 4 other rounds our scores gradually went downhill and even a last fantastic effort from the ETC team was not enough to move us any further up the board.
In the end, we finished in third place, with Willingdon as the victorious team and Hailsham and Cavendish in joint second (at least we didn’t come last!).
The challenge was great fun for everyone involved and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of taking part next year.
